If you’re a New York City resident and haven’t gotten your free municipal identification card, go here to set an appointment for one.
The IDNYC card gives NYC residents access to City services, admission to City buildings, and is accepted at a number of banks and credit unions to open a bank account. The IDNYC card offers a full package of exciting benefits that includes discounts on movie tickets, sporting events, prescription drugs, fitness and health centers, supermarkets, and New York City attractions. The card can be integrated with your account at the New York, Brooklyn, and Queens Public Library Systems. There are a number of additional benefits available to IDNYC cardholders, including the opportunity to sign up for free one-year memberships at 40 of the city’s leading museums, zoos, concert halls, and botanical gardens.
We are proud to say that a number of Coro alums were involved in the creation and implementation of the IDNYC, including Grace Bonilla and Council Members Carlos
Menchaca and Helen Rosenthal.
If you already have the IDNYC card, set a date with a Coro alum or three to visit a museum or cultural institution as a benefit of having the card. Residents outside of New York City, be a guest!
