OTHER CORO CENTERS
Coro was founded in 1942 in San Francisco at a time when leaders feared that democracy as a form of government was under threat by the rise of communism and fascism. The founders believed that to allow democracy to flourish, they would need to cultivate a new generation of leaders. In the wake of World War II, their innovative approach to leadership development began by training young veterans to ensure our democratic system of government could work more effectively for its citizens. The Fellows Program in Public Affairs is the flagship program of five Coro centers.
